OFDM clipping distortion compensation using the Equation-Method

چکیده

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a multicarrier modulation technique which is being used in many wireless systems including 4G. Binary input is mapped onto a constellation diagram, which represents bits in the form of complex numbers. Each mapped complex number is called a constellation symbol. All the constellation symbols are added together by means of inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT), to make one OFDM symbol. The Inverse FFT achieves the multi-carrier modulation at the transmitter in a highly elegant and efficient way. An FFT acts as the demodulator at the receiver.
